Mobile Technology has connected us more than before and this has brought an opportunity in development work as it is easier now to reach even those living in rural and isolated areas. The power of mobile technology especially the SMS technology is very fundamental in Health Care.
This training workshop will help participants understand basics of Mobile and Electronic Health, learn from Innovations for Change's experiences in using the technology with UNAIDS and SAT in Malawi, relate their development work to the relevant technology applications,and connect with other participants
Eligibility criteria
- Be actively involved in development work
- Must have a mobile phone that works
- Be competent in the use of English language
- Have an active email account
Responsibilities
Accepted participants will be responsible for all costs related to their travel to and from the training venue. All participants are required to carry their own laptop and Mobile Phone (any type). Participants are also supposed to meet the cost of their accomodation.
Entitlements
During the event, the organisers will provide tea breaks and lunch, copies of learners notes and instructional material. Please not that only participants who complete the four-days training will receive a certificate
Fees
Each successful applicant will be required to pay a fee of Seventy Thousand Kwacha (MK70,000. 00) only for the full workshop.
